If we would seriously commit ourselves to obeying the command to use the Psalms, the worship wars (contemporary vs. traditional) would begin to evaporate. Click on the link above ... Buckley's article is worth reading.

And speaking of Psalms...when I quoted Psalm 83 I quoted the beginning hoping it would be familiar I never got to the good part.
"Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon, who perished at En Dor,who became as refuse on the earth." And it goes on from there. It was one of the first psalms I memorized (in a versified version)...Children have no problem singing imprecatory psalms and other "not nice" things like that. We pick that up somewhere along the way I think.
